Hi everybody, my name is Margarita. Born and raised in Kharkiv, I graduated with masters degree in journalism. Last year was very unexpected to me and many others Ukrainians. Having just returned from my birthday party on 23 February 2022, I enlisted with the Ukrainian military the next day. I am still assisting the Ukrainian Armed Forces with various PR, communication and copywriting tasks. I have also learned skills of a paramedic.

My experience during the last year helped me develop a number of ideas for my own business in the medical and health spheres. I expect the Young Veterans Ukraine project to help me enhance my current skills and competences, while also making me learn new ones. While still awaiting the military victory of my country, I think it is essential now to show by example that I wish to stay and work in Ukraine. In turn, I hope to create work opportunities for my compatriots and the country’s successful future.
